Important Notice:

All versions of LocoScript for the PCW or PCs require an MSDOS compatible printer and NOT a Windows-only model. Please check that this is the case before ordering as software packages which have been opened cannot be refunded. LocoScript also requires a standard VGA display and a parallel printer port on PCs and won't print via a USB connection. All products carry a RTB warranty against physical defect but NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT is available beyond our stated warranty period (normally 30 days) except by special arrangement and/ or payment of an extra fee. Purchasers of the products in our price list are deemed to accept these terms.

 All goods are checked prior to despatch to ensure satisfactory condition as far as possible and all computer discs are load-tested. If an item is found to be "dead on arrival", that is physically damaged upon receipt or in a non-working condition, at the destination address then this should be reported to the company within a working day or as soon as possible. We will then arrange with you for the item to be returned if necessary for action as appropriate. Please Note that no refunds will be given specifically for computer program discs which fail to load/install due to failure/defects in the customer's hardware/configuration. The period of warranty is generally 30 days from date of purchase unless otherwise stated in the product documentation or sales invoice. The company warrants that the product or program performs only to its stated specification. It shall be the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product meets the customer's requirements.  All products carry a RTB warranty against physical defect but NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT is available beyond our stated warranty period except by special arrangement and/ or payment of an extra fee. Purchasers of the products listed on our web site or in our catalogue are deemed to accept these terms.and no liability can be accepted by the company for any losses or damages arising out of the use of the supplied product. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of an item if proven to be faulty following inspection of the item by the company. The stated warranty does not cover accidental damage or misuse and specifically excludes consequential loss. If an item appears to show defects during the normal warranty period, the customer should contact the company to obtain a returns authority before arranging for the item to be sent back to us (or, if applicable, to the manufacturer) for full inspection. If permission is thus granted, the item(s) should be wrapped as when delivered e.g. in full protective packaging. It is a good idea to keep the original packaging for this express purpose and to use a suitable guaranteed delivery service for example via Royal Mail or Parcel Force. The cost of carriage on returns, as agreed, to be borne by the customer. Note. The definition of an "item" in the context of the above is that of any computer disc, consumable, peripheral or accessory; "the company" is SD Microsystems Ltd also trading as Locoscript Software.
